“Even though t he event was not a huge success as a fundraiser, the turnout for the event was much better than last year. However, I would like to thank everyone who came out to support us and special thanks to the artist, Mr. Cecil Cooper and Mr. Robert Armstrong, for allowing us to put their art on display. Even though Mr. Armstrong was not able to attend, Mr. Cooper was there and I know that his presence added much to the ambience of the event. I would also like to thank our Patrons for the evening, the Honorary Consul of Jamaica, Mr. Vin Martin and Mrs. Claire McLeveighn, Director of External Affairs and International Relations, City of Atlanta for lending their presence to the event this year and for the kind words spoken about us that evening.
